Partnerships
We do not work alone, but alongside others. We all partner with others in building the Kingdom every day, in our relationships, work and play, but the partnerships detailed here are more specific connections we have as a church community.
The Hamper Scheme
In the Summer of 2018 we began partnering with the Meridian Primary School to offer a weekly food hamper to families whose children receive Free School Meals. Despite the introduction of school vouchers over the holidays this scheme is very much needed. in 2021 Pauline and Stephen took over the reins, and added weekly cakes, and veg from Wimpole Hall! 8 families took the offer of Hampers up. |
Time to Talk
Is a free and confidential listening service we have set up in partnership with the GP surgery. If you want someone to talk to or have something specific to talk through this might be for you. Typically everyone who takes part will have 6 sessions of up to 45 minutes each on the phone with a training listener. This is not formal counselling. You can either be referred directly by your GP or contact Revd. Barnabas on 07787 800 888. |
