Children at St Mary's

Being an inclusive church means being a multi-generational family where all are welcome.
St Mary's is a place where everyone can find a home, whether 3 or 93.

There is a carpeted creche area in church which those with young children use. There is a pen to keep toddlers contained so that life is easier for the parents in charge. There are a wide selection of toys.

There is a table for slightly older children where they can do activities that relate to the theme of the service.

With a good sound system a bit of noise is not a problem.

Older children are encouraged to get involved in the service, by helping with prayers, or readings or communion.

Do talk to David for more info on how children can be involved in the life of the church.

There is also the barn. This is used for children's activities during some services. As we grow as a community we will begin using it more frequently.
